tack42 Posted August 24, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2008 Has anyone cruised with Princess and had a roommate match up thru them? Want to cruise without having to pay high supplement fees. Thank you Tom
Pam in CA Posted August 24, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2008 Princess discontinued the matching roommates option I believe a year ago. You might want to check on your roll call to see if anyone needs/wants a roommate.

Thank you Tom I haven't heard of Princess doing that in recent times. I know HOlland America does, or did.
Colo Cruiser Posted August 24, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 24, 2008 Princess discontinued that program. :)
Treven Posted August 25, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 25, 2008 Even if Princess still did this, I'd stay away from it like it was the plague. That's like going on a blind date that lasted a week!! Pay the extra; you'll be glad you did. All of my previous cruises have been through Atlantis Events, their single suppliment is an additional 100% of the cabin cost. My upcoming Princess cruise has a single suppliment of only 50%.

He didn't say anything about the opposite sex.......blind date? I did a Club Med years ago to Playa Blanca, Mexico. There you have to share as a single. I bunked with a 50+year old bag pipe player who brought his full kilt outfit and bagpipes. What a blast. He played every night, either in the shows or just on the beach. The Mexicans were amazed, as I don't think they ever heard bagpipes before. What a blast. I wouldn't do it now, 40 years later, but it was fun and not a problem at the time.:D
