cruisealot54 Posted August 24, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2008 I dont know the berth #, but we have sailed out of San Pedro several times on Princess cruises over the last few years and it has always been the same place. It is a very nice terminal with clean restrooms and it does has an elite lounge.

Pier 93 is the pier next to the bridge and Pier 92 is in the channel. Princess will use both piers. In April the Island Princess dock at Pier 92 then after it did a wet dock for three days moved to Pier 93. http://www.sanpedrocalendar.com/scripts/calcium310.pl?CalendarName=sanpedrocruiseship&Op=ShowIt&Amount=Month&NavType=Absolute&Type=Block&Date=2008%2F11%2F1

This is the terminal that has the nice Elite/Platinum lounge. Up until mid-October, I believe RCI's Monarch of the Seas has precedence over Princess ships in Berth 93 on Mondays & Fridays. In that case, Princess will berth out in the channel. For Saturday departures, the Sapphire uses Berth 93 and on Sundays, the Vision of the Seas uses it. (Carnival ships sail out of Long Beach.) Bruin Steve Posted August 24, 2008 #6 Share Posted August 24, 2008 Royal Caribbean paid to have the terminal remodeled a few years back and their deal with the port authority is that they have first rights on docking at that berth...So, if there's a Royal Caribbean ship in port, they get the location...If no RCCL ship, then it's up for grabs and likely Princess gets it...
