thefamilycruisers Posted August 24, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2008 We are cruising AOS during the week of Christmas. I have promised the kids that it would still seem like Christmas even though we are on a cruise. For dinner on Christmas night, is it better (more festive) to have dinner in the main dining room or in a specialty restaurant? Anyone with any experience? Thanks. cruisePRN Posted August 24, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2008 The main dining room is very festive so I think it would be better.
maxs mom Posted August 24, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 24, 2008 You will get a traditional Christmas dinner in the main dining room.....it's a special menu.....and quite good. It will more than likely be a formal night and is quite festive. We love spending Christmas on the ship.
Rare silentbob007 Posted August 24, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 24, 2008 I wanted a special dinner in December, so I booked Portofino for Christmas Eve. As others have said, the dinner on Christmas Day is usually a special affair.
nanfromatlanta Posted August 24, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 24, 2008 For the last few years we have cruised during the holidays. We always look forward to having Christmas dinner in the main dinig room. It is a very festive occasion.
