Paradise 4 night Baja - 2 questions?

Hi, all! :D I'm hoping someone out there can help me with two questions regarding the 4 night Baja cruise on Paradise.

First of all, can anyone tell me if muster drill is held inside where there is seating, or outside standing on the deck?

Second, I would like to know if there is a formal night on this cruise, and if so, which night would it be?

Thanks for your help!

We were on a 3 day in May. The instruction part of the drill was held indoors, and then we went out and stood at our stations for about 10 minutes.

According to the Carnival website there will be one formal night. Ours was on the second night.

We were on the 4-day Paradise 2 years ago and will be again next week. The formal night was the 2nd night, Catalina night. The muster drill was in the main lounge (but could be in a different location depending on your cabin location) and then we went out side to our actual muster stations for a few minutes.

Depending on your Muster Station Letter (A) (B) © (D) thats posted behind your door, you are escorted to either the Theater or one of the Lounges and then after a short debriefing they escort you to your outdoor stations.

Some good news for you: You will only have to wear that nasty life vest for a few seconds. They have recently changed their policy. Now they just make you put it on once, then take it back off and carry it. Sooooo much better than having to wear the awful thing for a half hour.

I heard on the Elation that they were having people tripping and falling on the stairs with those things on because they couldn't see their feet. So much better just to carry them.
