Orlando Airport 12:30 flight

Thinking of booking a 12:30 flight - will I be able to make it from Port Canveral to airport in time?????

If you are able to disembark by about 9 and get a vehicle right away you should be fine (barring traffic of course). Airline and security waits can be hard to predict at Orlando. I've had no wait and I've had a 45 minute wait for security (there was also a very long line at the airport counter, but I had checked in on-line and didn't have to check bags). When I flew out of there a couple of weeks ago there was no sign of reduced travel (lines everywhere, limited parking in the garage).

Have a backup plan in case you miss your flight.

The days of saying, oh well, and going standby on the next flight are long gone.

I think 12:30 might be pushing it. It is an hour drive from the port to the airport. You need to be at the airport around 11:00 since you will be checking bags which means leaving the ship at around 9:30am. Orlando is known for having huge conventions and add Disney tourists to the mix as well as your fellow cruise passengers. The airport is a hit or miss as far as times from curb to gate. It could be 10 minutes or an hour. I would suggest looking at flights after 2pm
