39august Posted October 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2004 A friend was recently in Plymouth and said they just walked around. Can anyone suggest tours or other activities for Plymouth?
RHayes8793 Posted October 24, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2004 We did Dartmouth/Steam train. Very enjoyable. Dartmouth is very scenic.

Tania Posted April 12, 2005 #5 Share Posted April 12, 2005 We enjoyed our personal walking tour of Plymouth. We started on the bowling green overlooking the harbour where Drake watched the Spanish Armanda approach...there's a free exhibit there too. We then took a cab to the main area where we saw the Mayflower dock...the actual spot in marked in the cement. Down main street, thereS' unique architecture...don't forget the fish and chips and cornish pasties...too much too eat. There's also the Plymouth gin distillery tour if you're so inclined.
