Plymout tours and suggestions?

A friend was recently in Plymouth and said they just walked around. Can anyone suggest tours or other activities for Plymouth?

We did Dartmouth/Steam train. Very enjoyable. Dartmouth is very scenic.

We enjoyed our personal walking tour of Plymouth. We started on the bowling green overlooking the harbour where Drake watched the Spanish Armanda approach...there's a free exhibit there too.

 

We then took a cab to the main area where we saw the Mayflower dock...the actual spot in marked in the cement. Down main street, thereS' unique architecture...don't forget the fish and chips and cornish pasties...too much too eat. There's also the Plymouth gin distillery tour if you're so inclined.
