Helpful Info re: Water Taxi Options in Venice

Recommended Posts

I was looking for additional info on how to get myself and luggage from the airport to a hotel via water taxi. The following is an email that may be useful to all by Mr Durant Imboden of Europe for Visitors; Mr. Imboden wrote:

What you're looking for is a company that provides "incoming services." We aren't a business directory and prefer to leave such matters to travel agents, but here's a company that I just found in a Google search:

The "Deluxe Transfer" option appears to be what you're looking for. (One word of warning: It's likely to be expensive, so check the price ahead of time.)

We have never noticed a problem getting a water taxi at the Venice airport. For those willing to pay the price (it can approach $200) there are usually taxis waiting at the airport pier.
