popeye0429 Posted August 28, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2008 We will be on AOS in November..YAHOO! I've read in a number of places that movies are shown in the screening room. If this is true, what types of movies could we expect? Just a note: this is a lively group working the RCI boards. I look forward to my DAILY dose! Thanks all!!!:D
Rare silentbob007 Posted August 28, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2008 Let me just say ... don't get too excited about the screening room. Movies will be announced in the Compass ... think ones that are either just about out on DVD or have been out for a month or so. The room is also tiny with a tiny screen ... like something you would use for a business presentation.

cb at sea Posted August 29, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 29, 2008 I can't even imagine paying to be on a cruise ship, and sitting in a dark, small room, with NO popcorn, watching a 2nd run movie. They don't show new, first runs!
rcacace Posted August 29, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 29, 2008 If you've seen all the latest ones from Blockbusters don't expect anything newer.
willow0325 Posted August 29, 2008 #6 Share Posted August 29, 2008 How about another giant buffet before you go into the screening room???! Yes, they could always use another giant buffet. Maybe a movie theatre buffet -- all the popcorn, Dots and Junior Mints you can eat! They'd be shoving and pushing to get in line even if the movie screen was blank! Yup, gimme another giant buffet! :p Great idea!
popeye0429 Posted August 29, 2008 Author #7 Share Posted August 29, 2008  Thanks cb & rc & willow. We don't get out to the movies much at home & a couple hours watching a "good" movie is always fun. You've said it all...tiny room..tiny screen..second rate movies..no popcorn..no buffet...why bother. I could stay home for that style entertainment. Thanks! OK..where's the buffet..I haven't eaten in at least 30 minutes..I'm starving!;) :D
