RCI Update: Tropical Storm Gustav/Enchantment

Update on RCI's website, thought many would be interested in this one:

 

Ships sailing from Port Everglades (Ft. Lauderdale)

UPDATE – Enchantment of the Seas, which will depart Port Everglades Thursday, August 28, will not visit Cozumel, Mexico, Saturday. Instead, the ship will visit Nassau, Bahamas, that day. The ship will be at sea Sunday as it returns to Port Everglades, Monday, September 1, as scheduled.

Looks like I am going to be squeezing right between both storms.....think we are fine though....that second one is not supposed to be anywhere close to the Bahamas till Tues Morning. The next sailing on Sovereign that leaves Mon 9/1 after mine might be more effected.

BTW....something tells me it's going to get awfully crowded in the Bahamas this weekend as anything that was supposed to be a Western Caribbean sailing over the next few days is most likely to be rerouted to Eastern.

Eastern Caribbean isn't a good place to be either with tropical storm 8 there. Weather forcasts say this will be a hurricane too.

But doesn't look to be possibly impacting the Bahamas till Tues....weekend should be fine.
