Book on Magica March 3, 2005 leaving from Savonna.

Need info on transporation that is available to get to Genova airport when cruise returns to Savonna.

Anyone else booked on this cruise?

Not on your cruise, but have sailed out of Savona with Costa.

We had pre-paid transfers from Costa that were included in the cruise cost.

People who were on the same plane as us contacted the Costa rep at the airport and were quoted a cost of Euro 18 (about $23) per person for the van transfer. It took about 30 minutes to get from the Genova airport to Savona. The airport is very small. Costa has a small lounge on the ground floor of the airport where we waited for our plane to leave.

I read somewhere on one of the message boards that a taxi would cost about $90.

An old post I know, but for info it didn't take us very long at all to get to the ship from Genoa, In fact, we could see the ship as we taxied along the run way after landing - very exiting!!!

The train to Genoa from Savona is $7 for first class. It takes 40 mins
