Ft Lauderdale-Mailing Question

Has anyone had any experience mailing/shipping items from somewhere in and around the Ft. Lauderdale pier? We will be on a Med Cruise in November and considered purchasing a few gifts while we are in Europe and know that we will be over our weight limit on the return flight from Florida to Texas...we were thinking that there might be a place fairly close to the pier where we could mail items back home that were too heavy or big to fit into a suitcase :eek: ...any help would be appreciated.

There is a full size post office very close to the pier and airport on S. Federal Hwy.

There is a full service Kinkos right on SE 17th. http://www.fedex.com

I think when I checked the USPS website for Fort Lauderdale I noticed there is a post office on 17th Street. I was thinking of mailing all the photos that my other sister Jacqui back home in England will be send with my sister Marion who is joining us on our cruise with a whole bunch of photos and I really don't want to take them with me on the cruise I was thinking of mailing them home to me.
