Dining Table size option

I booked my April 09 cruise last wek and I just realized I wasn't asked what size table we would like. The PVP asked what time but not what size table.

 

Did I miss something or did Carnival stop taking requests for table size preferences from clients.

I've never been asked about table size, only time.

 

But, I've read on these boards where some are asked about size.

I've never been asked what size table I want. I think you can call them and make a note on your reservation but I've always been told that they can't guarantee anything.

I just booked last week with Carnival too (for the first time), and I wasn't asked about table size. On Royal Caribbean and Norweigan we were asked for our preference. Is there no choice?

You will have your table and time embossed on your S&S card. If you're not happy with it, see the MD at the time listed in the Capers. He'll change it for you, if at all possible.

What's the biggest/most seating at a table in the dining room? On our last cruise I can't remember if there were 8 of us at the table, or 10. I would like to have a table to sit 12, if possible.

We have seen tables for 12 before but they are few.

They use to let you request table size, but don't any longer. Just what seating you want and that is request only unless you are platinum.

In all my years w/Carnival, I don't recall ever being asked what table size I preferred.

 

About the tables for 12, you'll most likely be seated at two tables of six next to each other...IF all your bookings are "linked".
