BDL Posted September 2, 2008 #10 Share Posted September 2, 2008 Kahlua is great in coffee!
StarryBugg Posted September 2, 2008 #11 Share Posted September 2, 2008 Chambord is another good one, if you like raspberry. Also, any of the Godiva liqueurs.
mama_hao Posted September 2, 2008 #12 Share Posted September 2, 2008 A little Baileys in my morning coffee while sitting on the balcony is my idea of nirvana!
davex100 Posted September 2, 2008 #13 Share Posted September 2, 2008 Coffee with an added shot of Cruzan Rum Cream, absolutely delicious! Rum Cream is like Baileys only made with Rum instead of whiskey.
suzy1212 Posted September 2, 2008 #14 Share Posted September 2, 2008 If you don't normally like cream or flavored creamers in your coffee I'd stick with Kahlua or another coffee flavored liqueur. That's the way my husband likes his spiked coffee. Personally I like Bailey's or anything chocolatey. Can't say about the Rum Cream. I bought some in Jamaica but tripped and fell getting off the bus and broke it. The cabin smelled good all week though. :o
Cotton Posted September 3, 2008 #15 Share Posted September 3, 2008 Ahhh, so many liqueurs, so little time.:D I love putting liqueur in my coffee. I prefer either Kahlua or Mudslide, but have enjoyed Bailey's, coconut rum, and amaretto, as well.
gypsyrose Posted September 3, 2008 #16 Share Posted September 3, 2008 I'm enjoying a little Bailey's in mine right now. I only use maybe half a shot, so it doesn't do anything but flavor the coffee. Some days, I think I should have used a double shot tho;) I usually pack me some in my suitcase for a cruise to drink on the balcony. I would hate to drink plain coffee for a whole week. I may have to try some of the other recommendations now.

-ClevelandRocks- Posted September 3, 2008 #19 Share Posted September 3, 2008 I'm an Irish, ex-Marine, retired construction worker so I'd say that makes me an expert on all things alcoholic. :o Tia Maria is is the very BEST, hands down, liqueur you can add to coffee. Blows Kahlua away! Acknowledgement to Valerie (barmaid Hobo Joes San Bernardino CA)
mama_hao Posted September 3, 2008 #20 Share Posted September 3, 2008 Sheridan's get's my vote! I have a bottle of this in the basement waiting for a special occasion to open it. May just have to try this! I usually just chill a cordial or martini glass and sip it straight.

RatherBFishin Posted September 3, 2008 #22 Share Posted September 3, 2008 IMO, You can't really go wrong with good old Bailey's. But I'm surprised no one mentioned either Godiva Liqueur or Crème De Menthe (or both for a Grasshopper taste)
