pennstateray Posted September 7, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2008 is there a sports bar on the ryndam? if not does the ship's tv system provide espn when in us/mexican water.
butterfliesfly Posted September 7, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2008 There is no sports bar, only the crows nest. We just back from Alaska last week and we missed the end of the olympics because when we were at sea, there was no reception. Even in ports there was limited channels in the rooms. It might be different to Mexico.
jtl513 Posted September 7, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 7, 2008 No sports bar on S-class ships, but the large TV in the Casino bar was usually showing sports on our Veendam and Statendam cruises.
PathfinderEss Posted September 7, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2008 I've traveled many times on the S class ships but I wouldn't argue with anyone on this one because I'm not a sport freak. Seems to me the casino bar/also acts as a sport bar, they have TV's in them tuned to sports channels. I'm sure there are others on these boards that maybe able to answer you better. PathfinderEss Posted September 7, 2008 #5 Share Posted September 7, 2008 Sorry pennstateray, I forgot to add that I talked to my DH and he said there is ESPN on your cabin TV.
Krazy Kruizers Posted September 7, 2008 #6 Share Posted September 7, 2008 And sometimes the ship can get the reception and sometimes it can't.
