traveler619 Posted September 9, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2008 I got "upgraded" to an forward cabin on the Vista deck for the October 19 Panama Canal cruise. I am prone to motion sickness--am I in trouble?
kitty9 Posted September 10, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 10, 2008 The front of the ship is known to feel the most motion, so you could experience more problems there. One of the reasons they tend to put the dining rooms at the back is because there is less motion than at the front. If you're doing a full transit, that either starts or ends in California, your roughest days will be the first two or three days outside of San Diego. The "Japan Current" cause that area to be rougher than most places.
