cactusrose Posted September 9, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2008 Here's the info from the Princess web site. While on-board you can book your next escape with Princess. Future Cruise Consultants are on each vessel to advise you of future cruise itineraries, fares and incentives. By booking on-board, you will receive reduced deposits of $100 per person and up to $150 shipboard credit per person on your next sailing with Princess. Simply make a deposit toward any cruise to secure this exclusive offer available only to our on-board passengers. CRUISE LENGTHSTATEROOM TYPEONBOARD CREDIT (USD/CAD)*7-9 daysInterior Oceanview$25 $5010-15 daysInterior Oceanview$75 $10016+ daysInterior Oceanview$125 $150 * Shipboard credit for 1st and 2nd passenger only. Check with your Future Cruise Consultant about offers for World Cruises The $100 is your deposit. This is good for an actual cruise booked while on board or,if you don't know which cruise you want to take, it's good for up to four years for booking a future cruise. It's completely refundable if you don't use it or change your mind about using it. You can purchase one FCC and then add $100 at the time of booking for the second person in the cabin and get the OBC for both.
paul929207 Posted September 10, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 10, 2008 Wih the Future Cruise Crdeits (FCC), you pay $100. For this you get $100 as the deposit on a future cruise (booked on the crusie or at some future date) plus an onboard credit on the future cruise of $25 to $150 depending on the length of the cruise and whether you book inside or outside cabin. For $100, you get from $125 to $250, pretty good deal.
indiana Posted September 10, 2008 #5 Share Posted September 10, 2008 We have used this and (hopefully) will continue to do so on future cruises. Even thou we must fly to get to Any port - cruising is great and we will continue to do so. Works great on future cruises. Have fun! Karen

Floflegs Posted September 10, 2008 #8 Share Posted September 10, 2008 Just for information it is not the same for UK cruisers. The FC consutant gives us a letter of interest, we pay nothing, but when we come to book a cruise we only pay £75 deposit pp and get the same OBC.
