4 X 4 tour on Corfu?

Has anyone done the 4 X 4 on this island? I think this is a great way to see the island but not sure if it's the right way to see it. Is there another way you suggest? Any info is appreciated.

I thought that most 4x4 tours were designed for off road fun. I am not sure Corfu is the place. There are lots of busy, narrow, occasionally winding roads. Lots of cars. Maybe you save the 4x4 for another day.

I could see taking a 4X4 tour of Corfu......the roads are definately twisty windy and steep but I am not sure there is any where to actually "off road" unless the tour company has made arrangements for such. I do have to mention I did not see any 4X4's while there so don't even know if this is an option. Definately not a "scooter" place tho :eek: Any tour of Corfu is a good tour....the island is beautiful !

Samantha Brown from the Travel Channel rented a 4x4 when she was in Corfu.It looked like she was having a great time on the narrow winding roads. I believe some of it was on off roads. We will be in Corfu next July and we plan on taking the 4x4 tour from RCI. We rented a 4x4 in Cozumel,Mexico on several occasions and although most of it was on paved roads we still had a good time. Go for it.
