As always, I value your input.

 

Should I go "direct" or use the "dine" button on the phone to book both when I first board?

 

Do you think the "dine" button will be busy, busy, busy? Would the reservation "get lost" somehow with one vs the other venue of booking?

I would try the Dine button. If it is busy, go by. I used the Dine buttn the day we boarded the Star to make reservation and had no trouble.

I tend to like face to face, but I would probably go with the phone. It worked well when I was on the Crown last year.

Chesie, If you wish to make a reservation specifically for a certain day and certain time and you can't be flexible about the date or time, go in person. If you can move your dining time a bit earlier or later or don't really care what day, just pick up the phone and call, if busy, try again later.

We do Sabatini's the first night, almost nobody in there, fantastic service because of that and best of all American Express pays for it:D

Thank you all!! Sorry for the delay in response. Been away for a few days.

 

I do have specific days/times so I'll try in person. BUT, can be flexible if not available.

What is the dress if you go on the first night?

 

 

The dress code for both the Steak house and Sabatinis is "Smart Casual"

every night. You will have some tell you that it is formal on formal nights. This just isn't true any longer. Just got off the Star. On both menus posted out front, in LARGE letters, dress code..Smart casual..

On both formal nights I would say it was about 75% formal and 25% casual.
