jdonal1012 Posted September 19, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2008 I was on the Emerald over the summer and they served a martini called The Dunes, does anyone have the recipe for that, or even better have a copy of the martini menu from Crooners that includes this one? Thanks, Julie

Thanks, Julie I have a deck of cards that has a martini recipe on each one. When I get home I'll look for the Dunes recipe.
BettyCruiser Posted September 19, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 19, 2008 Sorry, I looked through all 52 of my Cooners martini cards and there isn't any Dunes. I tried locating a posted menu but couldn't find that either.
Treven Posted September 19, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 19, 2008 Was it a particularily dry martini - hence the name, Dunes, i.e. sand dunes?
jdonal1012 Posted September 19, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted September 19, 2008 Actually I have the deck of cards too and didn't see it there either....It wasn't a dry martini, I don't know why it was named the dunes, all I know is that it had coconut rum in it, and I think maybe pineapple juice and something else, but not too sure...... Thanks.....Julie
rdsqrl Posted September 19, 2008 #6 Share Posted September 19, 2008 Julie, the bartender in me has never heard of that drink (and somehow missed it on my last cruise -- hmm, must book new cruise at once!) but that miraculous tool, Google, kicked up a bar menu from some random restaurant that had an "On the Dunes" martini listed: Absolut Vanil, Alize Passion Fruit Liqueur, and Pineapple Juice. Sound like your drink?
