How much should a taxi cost from port to Ploce Gate, Dubrovnik?

We don't want to get in not knowing how much it's going to cost us! We would pay in euros because we probably won't have Croatian currency at that time.

I guess it depends on where you dock. We docked near the Franjo Tudjman Bridge. Due to some one way roads, it takes a bit longer to go to the Gate than to return. We took the shuttle bus. About 15 to 18 minutes to go and 12 to 15 minutes return. I found this photo that shows a ship exactly where we docked. Some hardy walkers said they did it by foot in under 45 minutes.

10.00 - 16.00 EUR with tip. It depends if you get a flat fee or they use a meter.

Gruz is essentially the same small port area near the bridge. You may dock slightly closer to Dubrovnik. I would think 15 to 20 Euros or so. The Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik is right across from the gate. Maybe you can e-mail them and get some taxi prices.

I just came back. I paid 10 Euros for the cab ride. It's much faster than waiting for the shuttle buses.

I also just came back and paid 10E. MUCH better than waiting for the shuttle. We met some people getting off the ship and we just split the cab with them.
