St. Maarten RCL excursion

Can anyone please suggest a good excursion for St. Maarten that we can buy through the ship? We looked in the book and saw a few that we liked but can not decide. Any info will be helpful. Thanks

If you want to go to a very nice beach, do NOT book thru' the ship. Take a taxi (prices are set and posted) to Orient Beach, one of the world's most beautiful. There are signs directing you to the taxi stand at the pier. Or take the water taxi across the harbor to the town of Phillipsburg which is set all along a long, white beach. The little town is quite pretty, shopping is good, and the boardwalk is super.

We are torn between a few of the beach ones and snorkel ones. We snorkeled twice on our cruise last year. But I am not sure if we would get bored with just the beach. We plan to just beach it in Labadee and nothing planned for San Juan.
