crusinpeg Posted September 24, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2008 What amount should you tip the staff at the ziplining?
cb at sea Posted September 25, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2008 Why would you feel the need to tip? Unless they do something out of the ordinary, their fee is sufficient!
Canadianhey! Posted September 25, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2008 We tip depending on our experience that we have had with the guides. I assume that they share the tip so it depends on how many guides, how good the experience is, etc. I have been on 3 different ziplines and I can't remember exactly how much but I think it would be around $10.00 to share. On the other hand I have seen a women that needed a guide to go with her the whole zipline because she was scared but wouldn't give up and she did not tip them at all. That I could not believe. GottaLuvCruising Posted September 26, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 26, 2008 Our family had five or six ziplining (along with a few other guests). They did a great job taking care of us and it was a fun and exciting experience. These folks do rely on tips as part of their income and I find it difficult to understand how some could deny them that. Each person tipped $5, plus I gave the leader $10 and expressed our sincere appreciation for all they added to the experience.
