Legend extended balcony 6230--view blocked?

I just switched to this cabin for the bigger balcony. It seems that the lifeboats are several floors below...is that right? Does it make much difference in the view of the water?

Our first and only (so far) balcony was Miracle 7192.

 

This was the view straight down.

 

 

Most people say they don't mind, that they prefer having those few extra square feet of space. For me, I decided that I would prefer to have a regular balcony with an unobstructed view of the water. Just my preference.

 

So, I booked super early to get an aft next time. Larger balcony and no lifeboats, so best of both worlds.
