Tip question

Just looked through the info on tipping: the booklet gives suggestions on amounts. For example, it says $12 for the waiter (that was the largest amount). We are on the Wonder (3 nights). Is that amount per person, per night? If so, that means w/ 2 people we will tip our waiter $72 for the whole trip. Is that right? I'd be mortified if I skimped on a tip!!

Yes, that looks right to me. You're always welcome to tip more if you feel the service deserves it. Don't forget you'll also have an assitant server, a head server, and the stateroom host or hostess. :)

Can I squeeze into your suitcase? ;)

I know Disney is more expensive than other lines but $12 a day pp for the waiter?

I think the $12 pp for the waiter is for the 3 days total.

Oops, sorry, not sure how I managed to misread that one! It would be $12 per person for the three night cruise, so $24 in total for two people/three nights. I need to stop trying to read these boards and talk on the phone at the same time. It's obviously not working for me, LOL!

In the tipping department, DCL isn't more or less expensive than other lines, they are all right about the same.
