wwinfl91 Posted October 30, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 30, 2004 We stayed in the Prince Conti this Spring for 3 days and had a good time. The room had great period furniture that made you almost feel like you were back in the 1800's. The staff was friendly and helpful with advice on where to eat and what was going on in town during our stay (we were there over St Pat's day and got to experience a New Orleans parade with floats and beads). The bathroom left a little to be desired since it also looked like it might have been there in the early 1900's but everything worked and we didn't have any problems. The hotel has on-premise parking for some cars but don't expect to get your car quickly as they put them so close together that it is tough to get them moved or even to get into the doors if you need to get something out of your car. The location in fantastic, only one half block off of Bourbon street but the noise from the street never bothered our sleep (of course we weren't going to bed real early). Here are a couple of links that have other information including one site that has a bunch of reviews including one I wrote after our trip. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g60864-d93047-Reviews-Prince_Conti_Hotel-New_Orleans_Louisiana.cink_html http://www.frommers.com/destinations/neworleans/H33378.html If the first one doesn't work try this one and look under hotels for the Prince Conti. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Tourism-g60864-New_Orleans_Louisiana-Vacations.html Have a great cruise and a good time in New Orleans. rt1092 Posted October 30, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted October 30, 2004 Thanks. I got the room for $25 it must have been a typo but I called the hotel and they have us booked and paid in full. I guess sometimes you get lucky. Thanks Again
