Snoozeman Posted September 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2008 The Regal Empress has arrived in Galveston. It will be used to house workers cleaning up after hurricane Ike. The Regal is a great old cruise ship. Perhaps she will stay following? Might make a good start for Bubba Cruise Lines.
jap114 Posted September 30, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2008 Curious - where is it docked? Doesn't look like it's at the cruise terminal. Or, at least I can't see it due to the smudge on the lens on the Harbor House web cam! I did notice that two more web cams are online today. Also noticed the umbrellas up at the Spot and people walking along the seawall sidewalks! Glad to see things healing in TX.

Also noticed the umbrellas up at the Spot and people walking along the seawall sidewalks! Glad to see things healing in TX. It is docked right at Terminal 1. The guys actually repairing the Terminal are the first to stay on her. Looks like the cruise terminal has high priority. The web cam is not current.
