gkaclt Posted October 3, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2008 Ok I seem to have started something here.LOL The adventures of Mr & Mrs Dobbie, two lonely little bingo dobblers who's life dream was to cruise around the world on a endless holiday. Their exciting journey started on 13th Sept 2008 on Pacific Sun when they were taken aboard by gkaclt aka Kelly. They enjoyed a few lovely games of bingo on board but sadly no wins. They enjoyed a few cocktails and a laze by the pool (sorry photos didnt work ):( . After 7 fun filled days they were left on board to be delivered to ichelle40 aka Michelle. They were happly delivered to her cabin on saturday. To be cont......by michelle Sadly after their 2nd cruise they vanished between the pursers desk and Alan & Anne cabin on PS 27th Sept. Possibly kidnapped by Kylie from P&O LOL. So Charlie & Cathy Dobbler , better know as C&C dobbler have kindly agreed to take their place starting on 11th Oct lunch & tour and then remain on board with Waterwheel. They have been offered a place on board PD for xmas where they will join TSLADY. They are looking for any help in keeping them cruising around between now and December. Sonyac Posted October 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2008 I can assist with them being on board for the cruise leaving the 7th of November from Sydney on PD until the 15th of November when I shall be vacating the boat. Is that of any help?

Need to see what cruises they can get on...:p :p
gizzigoo Posted October 3, 2008 #4 Share Posted October 3, 2008 Mr and Mrs Dobbie are working on their cruise wardrobe at the moment for the up coming lunch on the 11th of October and their cruise which follows the luncheon. Waterwheel will be escorting them to their cabin for the voyage and I hear they have some plans for a very large bingo win. Will post photos or Mr and Mrs Dobbie lunching with the CCers on the Pacific Sun.
gizzigoo Posted October 3, 2008 #5 Share Posted October 3, 2008 Mr and Mrs Dobbie the flamboyant bingo dobbers have been spotted recently. I understand you have to watch out for their drinking habits, they apparently love a cocktail or two! Truly tragic :o

Paulchili Posted October 3, 2008 #7 Share Posted October 3, 2008 The P&O Australia CC board is so much fun! I have never sailed with them but I enjoyed reading the board as everyone seems to be having a good time (it is as it should be). Sadly many of our (US) boards are often very contentious and threads have to be locked (or removed) by moderators due to inappropriate posts. Be careful, you know us Aussies we'll entice you into the fold and then hey presto you'll suddenly be cruising in OZ and will wonder "how did that happen"! :D I've heard that it has happened to another CCer in the US before! He started listening to OZ radio over the internet and before he knew it he was in OZ meeting Australian CCers and Cruising on the Pacific Sun! I do believe aussiedisneyfan knows a little about this. gkaclt Posted October 4, 2008 Author #13 Share Posted October 4, 2008 Glenda love the dobbies wardrobe. Lucky they only drink from little cups or their drink bill would be unbelievable.. Wish we could cruise on some of the US ships but its a long costly flight from here also. LOL

gkaclt Posted October 4, 2008 Author #18 Share Posted October 4, 2008 Hello Glenda, would you like me to keep a calender of who would like the Dobbies and on which cruise ship. That would make it possible to pass on details as to if they need to be left on board or mailed to the next person. thanks Kelly gkaclt@bigpond.net.au

Tasheetash Posted October 4, 2008 #21 Share Posted October 4, 2008 Hi Kelly, Our cruise returns on the 29th November, which you have already figured out. I don't really need to get the dobbies - so if you want them left on board Pacific Dawn that will be ok. Tash
aussiedisneyfan Posted October 4, 2008 #22 Share Posted October 4, 2008 Have they decided that they will only travel P&O? They can join us on the Hawaii Rhapsody sailing in April if they like. I will even shout them the airfare home!
gkaclt Posted October 4, 2008 Author #23 Share Posted October 4, 2008 Tasheetash - since the Dobbies will sometimes need to change with fellow dobbie family memeber ( aka run out) it would not be a problem for you to have them. It would just be a few more of the Dobbie family cruising at one time if neccassary. Disneyfan - No the dobbie's our not fussy what ship the are on as long as they are cruising. They would love to take trip with you. Kelly:p
TSLady Posted October 5, 2008 #24 Share Posted October 5, 2008 Whoever needs to post them to me for Christmas can get my address via email.....erisonilu at yahoo.com.au. I can't quite figure out who will have them last prior to me leaving. I am looking forward to sharing our Christmas with them and will make sure they are not left out when it comes to pressie time. aussiedisneyfan Posted October 5, 2008 #25 Share Posted October 5, 2008 Darn it, DH just pointed out that the US ships we have been on don't dab at bingo but punch holes. So if Mr & Mrs would like to come just for a holiday they are welcome but won't be getting much exercise. Other CCers will be able to let us know about Rhapsody's way before we go.
