getting from nassau to paradise island

Taxi or water taxi.

Water taxi is $3 per person each way. Please note like every other water taxi I have been on they wait until they are full to leave.

Taxis are right out side - last Nov - was $5 each way per person. Had a blast just walking around and going down to the FREE beach on Paradise Island

i think i'll do the water taxi and also want to see a bitn of nassau too.

you can also go out to Bay Street, grab the local jitney.

it will take you to Potter's Cay Bridge, which is the bridge from Nassau to Paradise Island.

 

just before going over the bridge, (the jitney doesn't go over the bridge), stop at those colourful shacks there on the left, under the bridge.

that's where all the locals go to eat and drink.

 

you don't get any more local than that!
