cruiseanywhere2 Posted October 12, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2008 Is it possible to book an AI upgrade on NCL and if not how much does a pint and a vodka and a splash cost?
bakerintn Posted October 12, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2008 NCL does offer a program for groups to get all drinks included. All members of the group need to participate and all days of the cruise must be purchased. I am not sure how they handle "call liquor" in this program. There is also a minimum size for the group to qualify. Most places will be selling a 12 oz bottle of beer (not pints) for about $6 including tip. Well liquor drinks are about $7; call liquor about $8. Often they will bring a drink in a tall souvenir glass and that costs extra, so be sure to ask for a "regular glass" when ordering. They offer a "helmet of beer" (6 beers that can be assorted) for about $22.

OrangeAndBlue Posted October 12, 2008 #4 Share Posted October 12, 2008 Thanks for your reply. What is "call liquor" sorry to be so ignorant.:o Call liquor, also called rail liquor, is the cheap stuff that is used to make drinks. It's usually the cheapest liquor for each category being used (rum, tequila, vodka, whiskey).

We're about to do our second group cruise with this and it works out well. It's nice to not have a big bill at the end of the cruise and be able to budget exactly how much money you want to spend.
