Need an Explanation of the Chef's Table, plz??

I have recently been informed about a feature on the CB called the Chef's Table. Although I've cruised on Princess twice before, I've never heard of this feature.

 

Can someone please explain it??

We were selected for one of the two Chef's Tables on the 15-24 Aug CB Eastern Caribbean cruise. Wonderful!! We finally excused ourselves at 10:15 pm from wonderful company and an incredible meal (wanted to catch Iron Man on MUTS!) Photos on my website at:
