Can you take a cab to the brewery

I was wondering if you can take a cab to the brewery and take the tour on your own or do you have to schedule something with an operator.

I'm looking for this info as well since Royal Caribbean is no longer offering the brewery tour as an excursion (I had it booked and they canceled it).

 

Is the brewery still doing tours in January 2009? I was wondering if they decided to close for renovations or something. Would still like to do the tour on my own if I can.
