Has anyone sent clothes to be cleaned? Do they wash and iron them and what are the fees? How long does it take to get them back? Woulld love to take half the clothes on a 10 med.....

Since cruise #2 we have been taking half the stuff and sending out laundry. Since you don't say which line you are cruising I can't comment on exact prices. We have done this on Celebrity. The cloths are returned the next day (I'm almost positive that's it) if they go out early enough.

As for their prices, I just took 4 shirts to the cleaners here and the bill was $14.00 and change.....it's LOTS less on the ship. The prices really are good and they do an excellent job, I love getting back ironed jeans.

Oh, yes, wash and iron and fold or on hangers. OR, clean.

I know that on carnival cruises, they have same day laundry. The price is $15.00 per laundry bag. Great service.

Same on Celebrity: Our bag of laundry (as much as you could shove in a bag ) was around $8-10 with coupon. We got the coupon because of our status as Captain Club members but even without the coupon it wasn't expensive. And they pressed, folded, whatever you requested and came back on hangers. If you have the bag of laundry available at your door by 9am or 10am you have it back the next afternoon. It is a must do for us.

I have done laundry on Royal Caribbean ships. If you take a ten day or longer trip; about midway thru the cruise they have a special deal where u can send in an entire bag(as much as u can stuff), for $10.
