AFAMILY Posted October 21, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 21, 2008 We will be sailing to the Bahamas on the Norwegian Sky in the next few months. When would you consider to be the best time to have dinner in the dining room and still be able to see the shows? Thanks! While I can't speak for the times on the Sky, I can tell you we generally like to have dinner early, 5:30-6:00. There are sometimes early and late shows in the theater, but you also have other entertainment going on around the ship. It's truly hard to fit everything in. Between the shows, casino, dinner and other activities, you'll have a very full day. Enjoy your cruise! :)
islandgirlejfan Posted October 21, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 21, 2008 I don't have the daily activity sheet in front of me that I saved, but I can tell you that I would book my dinner before 7:00 PM on the Sky, ESPECIALLY if you are going to eat in Le Bistro and that goes double if you buy the Romance package. You are going to get two desserts and sung to by the wait staff.
Wills Mojo Posted October 21, 2008 #4 Share Posted October 21, 2008 Thanks for the recommendation. I booked the Romance package and am looking forward to setting my reservation for the same evening we embark.
newmexicoNita Posted October 21, 2008 #5 Share Posted October 21, 2008 Normally if you eat before or around 6:00 you can still make the first show, if not shoot for the second one. Or better yet, on our last NCL cruise we did the first show and had dinner about 9pm in Cagneys. It was a fun night. Nita
Richie2pies Posted October 21, 2008 #6 Share Posted October 21, 2008 The Sky only had one when I was on her. Cheap fares; you get what you pay for, only the sewerage smell was free.
