are skates provided (free/addt. charge???) on the Mariner of the Seas

Recommended Posts

This coming June I will be going on the Mariner of the Seas and I didn’t think to inquire with my travel agent yesterday the three different times that I talked to her but I figured I’d ask here before trying to give her a call tomorrow. Does anybody happen to know if the cruise line provides skates (at no additional charge, besides that of what we’ve paid for our cruise price) for the ice-skating rink as well as the in-line skate track, or do we need to bring this on board ourselves? Also, if they do provide them, any idea how much the rental fees are and for how long? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!!!

The ice skates are provided free of charge; however, I, as well as others using them have found them to be uncomfortable. They are a very rigid plastic that can hurt your ankles. But, I wouldn't let that deter you from trying it. It was some of the most fun I had onboard! Sore ankles and all!
