Visa Requirements

Greetings,

Quick question. I'm going on the 19 night Sun repo from San Fran to Chile and have a quick question about the Visa Requirements. Do we need to get the visas for each country we are visiting or is that something the cruise line will do? If so does that also include Chile when we get off the ship? I just need to know what to show up to at the pier with in California.

Thanks!

James

James,

Because the cruise ends in Chile you will need to obtain your own visa. I do not believe that any other country in your itinerary requires a visa for US passport holders, but you may want to check with the consulates of those countries.

As the previous post said you will need one for Chile. Even though it is a visa there is a departure tax that is attached to the visa. In most cases, you need to pay the tax in cash at the airport. They do not accept credit cards and I think it is around $100. Double check each consulate on their website and it will answer your question.
