Zipline at Loterie Farm St Maarten - 8 yr old

We booked our 8 year old for this zipline adventure - now she is stressing out. It is really scary or should she be okay.

Do a search on the St Martin -Ports of call site.

You know your child and will be better able to judge,but there is more to the ST Martin than just the Zip lines---there are bridges and climbs and I don't think her lacking confidence at this point helps.

If you are going to Puerto Rico the zip there is easier.But there will be plenty of opportunities in the future for an eight year old to do these things when she's ready...why force her?

Personally,while I believe there is no danger and it is exciting,stress and or panic could cause her to brake improperly.

Hey,I've seen eight year olds panic on bumper cars when they were stuck in corners. You have to ask yourself is it worth it? Her time will come.

I see there is a Jr Zipline too. I wonder if she tries this first to get a feel for it.

Not scary at all. We did this and my kids loved it. If at any time she wans to stop she can. It is not very high at all.
