I am thinking to buy travel insurance and I found out that insurance would not normally pay for points, miles, rewards etc. I know that a lot of people on this forum used Compass Rewards and travel insurance. Does anybody have an experience when you had to cancel for a covered reason but insurance would not pay you for the rewards? Did you lose the rewards? Were they credited back to your account?
