PV Beach Breaks at Resort Hotels

Hi! We are cruising Thanksgiving week to the Mexican Riviera. Does anyone have a suggestion of a resort we can contact to spend the day at their facilities. We want to experience the full resort for potential future visits. No timeshare - no sales people. We want to be able to have a fun, deluxe day with minimal crowds and plenty of shady spots to relax. Can anyone help?

Do you have any thoughts on where (what area) you would like to be? There are several different areas in greater Vallarta where resorts are clustered together. Take a look at the maps on this site - http://www.vallartainfo.com/

 

You will find most resorts grouped as follows: Neuvo Vallarta (north of the airport), Marina Vallarta (immediately north of the port), Northern Hotel Zone (between the port and northern edge of downtown) and scattered between the south edge of Puerto Vallarta, down to Mismaloya. There are a number of resorts along the north coast beyond Nuevo Vallarta (Buceria to Punta de Mita.

 

Most resorts north, beyond the airport, are all-inclusive due to the lack of restaurants. We have timeshares at the Sheraton (north edge of downtown) and Grand Vellas out in Nuevo Vallarta.
