simkoreb Posted November 3, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2004 I'm thinkg of taking the bus to Cemetary Reef, but was also thinking about Smith's Cove or another not super crowded beach. DO the buses run to Smith's cove? Does anyone know of a website that shows bus routes? Has anyone used the buses before? I read they charge 2.50 per person to cemetary reef. Thanks!! sharks48 Posted November 3, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2004 Not sure if there's a map there, but there is a list and description of the routes at caymanvacations.com/general/bus_service.htm.
kjunea Posted November 3, 2004 #3 Share Posted November 3, 2004 Buses in Cayman are actually large vans to small buses. They move along the main roads and there are bus stops, but they honk if they see you along side the road and will stop if you wave. As for routes, they follow the main roads. There is a transfer station downtown in Georgetown, but I can't remember where! Hope that helps a little.
