Sourdough car rental in Skagway

Hi,

 

Has anyone rented with them?

 

I have emailed twice but got no response. I have a car reserved with Avis but my 6' 4" husband would like a truck and Avis doesn't have them, only 3 types of cars. Sourdough shows ford pick ups and durangos.

 

There will be over 7,000 people in Skagway our day so I want to reserve NOW!!!

The lady at Avis told me the best way to reach them is by leaving a phone message. She also said they probably won't call back until January or February.

I dont blame your husband for wanting a bigger car..We rented a Durango from them in Sept...It was a little beat up but ran great..:) and the price was right..I would call them or email them again..

What's their cell phone number? Which company would you recommend, Avis or Sourdough?

Sourdough is a bit cheaper but their cars are MUCH older and have huge signs on the side ( ie http://www.geocities.com/sourdoughcarrentals/dodgeneon.htm ), so Avis would be my first choice unless you want a van or SUV.
