Dim Sum - San Pedro?

Any suggestions?

Not really the right part of LA...

For the alleged melting pot LA seems to be to some, it is actully very "ghettoized"...Different ethnic groups live in different parts of the city...

The Chinese population, for the most part, lives in the Eastern suburbs--Alhambra, Monterey Park, Hacienda Heights and the other communities in that area...

If you want really good Dim Sum, that's where you head...

My personal favorite is Ocean Star on Atantic Blvd.:

Ocean Star

145 N Atlantic Blvd

Monterey Park, CA 91754-1581

Phone: (626) 308-2128

...But it's about 28 miles up the 710 from San Pedro...

The closest Dim Sum you'll find to San Pedro is the Regal Palace on PCH in Lomita:

Regal Palace Seafood

2166 Pacific Coast Hwy

Lomita, CA 90717

Phone: (310) 326-3228

I've never eaten there, so I cannot vouch for it...But it is fairly close to San Pedro...about 6.6 miles up the 110, then west on Pacific Coast Highway...\

Good luck...
