current info re: Best Western on Seawall

I tried to call the hotel today, but got no answer. So I called BW customer service to confirm my 2 rooms booked for Jan. 10. I was told that the hotel is still renovating but would be open Dec. 1 for reservations after that date. My reservations were confirmed to me as "guaranteed".

We had reservations at the Bestwestern Beachfront Inn for Dec 6 & 7 that we had made months ago, and just today the B.W. customer service people called and told us they werent going to honor them...hotel was still gonna be booked with construction workers and displaced people...so I'd be a little leary about trying to book one here

I called yesterday for the BW, got the room booked with conf #, only to have a call the next day on answering machine that they made a mistake and are not taking reservations. Guess my search goes on. Cruising Dec 13 2008
