Courtesy hold

I considered changing the date of one of our reservations. I called RCI and asked for a courtesy hold for the date I wanted. (I never told the agent that I was considering changing dates.) The RCL agent told me that they do not do courtesy holds. :(

 

I went back to the cruise vacation details on-line and then noticed I could do a courtesy hold on line. :D Which I did.

 

How come the agent wouldn't do it for me over the phone :confused:

They can't do courtesy holds over the phone. You can only do them online or through a TA.

I guess you learn something everyday. :rolleyes: Thanks for clearing that up.

 

I wish she would have explained it to me. I thought RCCL didn't do courtesy holds at all.

they used to allow them thru the phone, but no longer........
