Cupecoy or Orient?

We are trying to decide if we want to go to Orient or Cupecoy beach. I looked at pictures of Cupecoy and am having doubts. For those of you who have been to both - which do you prefer? Which is the most scenic beach of the two - and I'm not asking which has the most buff bodies - I'm talking about the beach itself.

I'm not sure that you could pick two more different beaches on St. Maarten.

 

You're probably well aware of what Orient has to offer, with lots of people and lots of services along the entire 1 1/2 miles of beach.

 

Cupecoy is much different. It is actually a series of separate coves and beaches, some readily accessible, and some nearly impossible to get to except from the water. It has very limited services, though you can usually rent chairs and umbrellas and get a drink or something to eat if you're in the right area.
