Paradise Beach snorkeling

I have read on here that the snorkeling there is so-so. If we were to walk from PB on the beach in either direction, how far would we have to go to get some good snorkeling. People are mentioning Dzul Ha, is that within walking distance, along the beach, from Paradise Beach? We will be there next week and can't wait to visit this popular place that so many people love!

You're not gonna find great snorkeling off a sandy beach, the fishies need shelter to live and you'll find lots of coral heads and fish life off a rocky shore such as Dzul-Ha. It's all sandy beach around here at PB, and Dzul-Ha is about 3 miles away. Stop off there 1st, snorkel your brains out, then grab another short cab ride to us! Hasta la vista!
