tracyvansmith Posted November 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 13, 2008 I want to spend one or two nights in Miami after my cruise and would like a beach front hotel. Our cruise arives April 5. I have check out alot of travel site and looked up hotels but there are so many. I was hoping I could get some help in finding a nice beach front hotel here. First of all, let's narrow down your choice of beach. What are your ages and your interests? That may sound stupid but Miami's beaches are all over the place in terms of cost, attractions, dining, nightlife, geography, etc.
tracyvansmith Posted November 13, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted November 13, 2008 We are early 40's and just want to relax on the beach for two days. Was hoping for a beach on the ocean.

Lots of fun, it can be quiet or rowdy, lots of fabulous dining and shopping. Check out The Loews Hotel. One of the middle of the road to upper end (anywhere else it would be a luxury hotel but South Beach is over the top). From there let me know what you think. Nice hotel but out of my price range at $450 a night. I was hoping to find something in the in the $200 range.
