pdietze Posted November 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2004 Okay, all you Century Star veterans...has anyone had any experience with the beauty salon on board?...good?...bad? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
tommui987 Posted November 16, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 16, 2004 We were on board in late August/early September on the Imperial Treasures trip. Wife had a shampoo, styling and thought they did a great job. Another friend went twice and thought it was great.
pdietze Posted November 30, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted November 30, 2004 Just returned from the Viking Yangtze Cruise (12 days). The beauty shop on board is lovely. However, if you're going to have something permanent done (like having your hair cut), take your Tour Director with you to translate, as the very accomodating beautician has limited English. An unexpected extra...an absolutely wonderful face, head, neck, shoulder and arm massage comes with every appointment. Only drawback...she has no curling iron, if that is your mode of styling. Be sure to go to the Reception Desk and book your appointments early in the cruise...once the word gets around re the massage, her appointment book fills up fast.;)
