Cunard Blankets onboard QE2

I was very happily surprised to spot four original Cunard blue/red 'steamer rug' blankets onboard QE2 when I sailed on her this past June. They were numbered 2743, R299, D412, and, pictured, 2489.

 

 

I was just wondering if any of them made it all the way to the last voyage, after having been on the ship all these years.

To those of you on the ship to Dubai right now -- do you see any of these blankets? If so, post pics!!

Numbered R906 and another blanket with the number 2 on it, l assume there are some numbers missing off the second blanket.

hello again & thank you for all the kind words - i was fortunate to obtain such a new piece & had it not been for the great crew member's kind heart i would not have recieved this - as i have only looked at this again today for the first time in a long time it is w/ a heavy heart - i am lucky that i have this to remind me of her & that lasting image of her speeding accross the atlantic in all her livery & grace
