Rhino Riders, need to be a good swimmer??

All the shore excursions for Barbados sound great, but it seems I keep getting drawn to the Rhino Rider excursion. The question is, I will be travelling with my Mom who isn't a great swimmer. She feels comfortable with a life preserver. It says in the NCL brochure, "must be able to swim unassisted". Does anybody know how much swimming you'll be doing? or are you mainly riding on the "boat"?

Thanks for your help.

hello there! i just wanted to tell you there is no need to worry about mom as she has an option to snorkel or to sta on the boat. i am not sure if she can just swim near the boats but i can check with them and find out.

they just need to make sure you won't have a bad experience in the water as the company prides itself on safety first. and the passengers on these Rhino's can swim on thier own. its a great tour and i am sure you will both enjoy it.

I did.
